Hi! I'm Mehlika

I studied engineering, and after more than 12 years in corporate life, I decided to leave. Up until today, I’ve tried to identify myself with many roles—such as a manager, a bakery chef, and a pilot. But now, I prefer to simply be myself: the one who asks many questions about people but rarely receives reasonable answers. I’ve tried to express my struggles and ideas on paper, to release them from both my mind and heart. 

To help tell my philosophy, I created a character. The journey of my work begins with sketching a story on paper and ends with digitalization on the computer. What I present here is the result of an internal combination that emerged from my efforts to derive meaning from the absurdities I observed in professional life, using the analytical perspective I gained through my engineering education. I am trying to reveal the impact of the conflicts regarding the irrationality of logic on the balance within the human inner world.
